Madam excellent blog with great pictures. I have a small doubt. When u move from Gangotri to Gaumukh then Bhirgu Parbat is the first peak on the left followed by Manda I whereas you have mentioned it reverse. Pl have a look. Thanks for sharing such an informative blog.

DeleteComing to your doubt: the top of manda is somewhat round in shape, whereas Bhrigupant looks like a cone. When we walk towards Chirbasa from Gangotri, it is the round shaped one which we see first, then the cone shaped.. Since the route is in the left of the ridges which hold Manda Group & Bhrigupant, we see both of them on our right. Manda Group is just at the left of Chirbasa campsite.
